Everybody Is a Genius

Albert Einstein once said:
"Everybody is a genius"

But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree
it will live its whole life believing
that it is stupid.

This is a five-minute video in which hundreds of truths about education are said. We thought it was very special for one reason: it combines criticism with poetry, and the result is great. We decided to post this video in our blog because it made us reflect on many things related to education, and that's what we teachers are supposed to do: observe, analyse and reflect.

That is why we recommend everybody to watch and enjoy.

Think about it

Put students in straight walls, nice and neat.
Seat still.
Raise your hand if you want to speak.
Give them a short break to eat.
In fact, eight hours a day
tell them what to think.
And make them compete to get an A.

The world has progressed,
and now we need people who think creatively,
innovatively, critically, independently,
with the ability
to connect.
