I am feminist

The women movement has been one of the most significant historical manifestations by women to achieve their rights. Even in the century we are, there is still a lot of ignorance about this term and its meaning, since many people confuse what this movement really means. Feminism has been represented and continues to be represented as an equal movement. The label "I am a feminist" continues to be prejudiced by hundreds of people.

In addition, I want to transmit through this poem that feminism is a struggle to achieve the same rights between men and women of the same society. This is being achieved little by little, but there are still places where women have no rights at all. Therefore, this poem is mainly addressed to men because they should also support this movement.

           

In most parts of the world, women have already greater opportunities for education or work. But this does not mean that patriarchy has ended and we have equality between both genders, there are still inequalities in salaries. Women are still being paid much less than men.
